What You’ll Do as Base Kenya Lead
- Act as the primary ambassador for Base in Kenya, leading developer outreach and go-to-market efforts.
- Organize impactful hackathons, meetups, and virtual events to onboard local builders.
- Spearhead creative advertising and growth campaigns to attract developers and users to Base.
- Foster relationships with apps, accelerators, VCs, and other key partners in Kenya.
- Build and manage a strong technical community to support Base’s growing needs.
- Curate grant funding opportunities for local startups and builders.
- Lead and grow Base’s online community via localized Warpcast channels.
- Provide market insights and feedback to help the global Base team improve their products.
What You Bring
- 6+ years of experience in tech and crypto, with a passion for building onchain ecosystems.
- Proven ability to create and scale community-driven projects.
- Deep understanding of and connections within the Kenyan crypto and developer ecosystem.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- A self-starter attitude with a focus on finding solutions and driving results.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster productive partnerships.
